(Sibley)– Possible injuries were reported Monday in a two-vehicle collision in rural Osceola county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Leesa Adreon of Sibley was driving a 1996 Cadillac eastbound on 170th Street and was waiting for oncoming traffic to pass before turning left onto a residential driveway.
Authorities say 18-year-old Jacob Laverman of Ocheyedan was also eastbound on 170th Street when he failed to see Adreon’s vehicle stopped on the highway, colliding with the rear of it.
Eight thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle driven by Adreon; a 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Laverman sustained an estimated 8,500-dollars damage.
Adreon sustained possible injuries but refused immediate medical attention. No other injuries were reported.
The collision took place shortly before 6:00 p.m.
