(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College’s Wind Turbine Technology program is getting a financial boost from a company that makes instruments for testing and maintaining transformers, batteries and underground cables.
The Megger company has donated 10-thousand dollars worth of equipment and manuals to the program.
Doug Zemler, instructor of the Wind Turbine Technology program at ILCC, says the equipment will help make students even more marketable in the industry and will allow them to have working knowledge of using the instruments.
Zemler expressed his gratitude to Megger for the donation.
