(Spencer)– A search warrant executed on a residence in Spencer this (Friday) morning resulted in drug charges against two people.
Spencer police say the search was conducted at 926 Fifth Avenue West shortly after 6:30 a.m.
As a result of the search, police arrested 23-year-old Jordan Sassman of Spencer on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Clay county jail for processing and was later released.
Police also arrested 29-year-old Devius Collins of Spencer on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts. He was transported to the Clay county jail for processing and was being held for confirmation of warrants from other jurisdictions.
Spencer police say their investigation into the matter continues.
