(Everly)– A 14-year-old male juvenile from Everly faces charges for allegedly assaulting his step mother.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a call they received to a residence back on February 17th.
The teen is accused of putting the woman in a headlock and trying to push her to the floor.
He was cited into juvenile court on a charge of simple assault and was released to the Youth Emergency Services Center in Cherokee.
