(Spencer)– A collision on Highway 71 on the north edge of Spencer Tuesday claimed the life of a Milford man.
Spencer police say 29-year-old Jacob Ralph of Milford was southbound when he lost control and crossed over the median, where he collided with a northbound vehicle driven by 31-year-old Kevin Schley, also of Milford.
Both Ralph and Schley were taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital, where Ralph later died of his injuries. Schley was treated and released.
Police say the collision took place around 3:00 p.m. in the 2900 block of Highway Boulevard.
Officers say Ralph was not wearing a seatbelt.
The collision remains under investigation.
