Spirit Lake Traffic Stop Results In Arrests Of Two People On Prostitution Charges

(Spirit Lake)– An early morning traffic stop in the Wal Mart parking lot in Spirit Lake landed two people in jail…including one on a prostitution charge.

Police say the stop was made after an officer saw suspicious activity in the vehicle.

Upon further investigation, the driver, 41-year-old JeTaun Brown of Lakota, Iowa, was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of prostitution, an aggravated misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of a prescription drug, a serious misdemeanor.

A passenger in the vehicle, 57-year-old Michael Vial of Laurens was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on a charge of prostitution, an aggravated misdemeanor.

The traffic stop was made shortly after 2:30 this (Friday) morning.
