(Spencer)– The Friends of CAASA (Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault), is looking for nominees for Outstanding Woman of 2010. The recipient will be honored during the organization’s annual “Womens Night Out” to be held March 25th from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer.
Entertainment will be provided by local musician Chad Elliott. Keynote speaker this year will be actress, filmmaker and activist Angela Shelton. She’s appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live, Lifetime Television for Women and was on the cover of the New York Times.
The evening’s festivities will culminate with the announcement of the Outstanding Woman of 2010.
Nominations are due by March 15th.
