(Emmetsburg)– A Graettinger man is accused of assaulting a 78-year-old Graettinger resident Friday at the Robins American Legion in Graettinger.
Upon investigating, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says an arrest warrant was issued for 51-year-old Larry Bamsey of Cylinder. He was taken into custody shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sunday at an Emmetsburg residence.
Bamsey was booked into the Palo Alto county jail on a charge of willful injury…a class “D” felony. He was being held pending an initial court appearance.
