Search Of Residence On Hwy 18 Near Spencer Results In Three Arrests

(Spencer)– A search of a residence on Highway 18 near Spencer back on March 3rd resulted in drug charges against three people.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the execution of a search warrant at 2350 Highway 18 resulted in deputies finding what’s alleged to be drug paraphernalia.

51-year-old Debra Cook of Spencer was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia; 47-year-old Tami Thompson of Spencer was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and 26-year-old Reuel Fletcher of Spencer was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three were transported to the Clay County jail.

Deputies were assisted by the Spencer Police Department, Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement and the Clay County Attorney’s Office.
