(Spencer)– A man wanted on an outstanding warrant was taken into custody today (Monday) at a Spencer motel.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received word that 42-year-old Christopher Wood of Greenville was staying at the Plaza Motel in Spencer and was wanted on a valid warrant out of O’Brien county for violating terms of his probation on two counts of assault with bodily injury and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Deputies made contact with Wood at the motel and he was taken into custody without incident and turned over to O’Brien county authorities.
