(Spencer)– A boil order that had been effect since last Sunday for Iowa Lakes Regional Water customers in southern Clay and northern Buena Vista counties has been lifted.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources say the advisory was lifted after six water sample came back clean this (Wednesday) morning.
A broken water main due to flooding caused the system to lose pressure, creating a potential for bacterial contamination.
