(Spencer)– Clay county authorities have arrested a convicted sex offender for allegedly failing to comply with the state’s sex offender registry requirements.
24-year-old Derick Thomas of Spencer was arrested Monday on a charge of failure to comply as a sex offender…a class “D” felony.
Thomas was booked into the Clay county jail on a five thousand dollar cash or surety bond.
