(Spencer)– Four male juveniles ages 13 and 14 face charges in connection with a rash of burglaries from vehicles on the east side of Spencer between July 24th and 25th.
All have been charged with burglary in the third degree…a class “D” felony. They were cited and released to the custody of their parents.
The teens, who’s names weren’t released, are accused of burglarizing six vehicles. Keys, stereo speakers, a bicycle, two game discs and a dvd movie were taken. All the items have since been recovered except the car keys which authorities say the suspects tossed into the Little Sioux River prior to being apprehended.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spencer Police Department.
