(George)– A George man was killed Friday night when a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was driving collided with a cow.
The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as 51-year-old Theodore Smith of George.
Authorities say Smith was northbound on a Lyon county road when he collided with the animal, which was standing in the middle of the road.
The collision took place around 11:30 p.m.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
