(Arnolds Park)– This year’s Walleye Weekend in the Iowa Great Lakes raised more than 20-thousand dollars for the Iowa Easter Seals Society.
Jen Johnson, Program Director for the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, presented a check to the organization last Thursday in the amount of $20,362.
The chamber thanks all the anglers, corporate sponsors, DNR, bait shops and chamber businesses who helped make this year’s event another success.
This marked the 28th year for Walleye Weekend.
