(Spencer)– It was announced today (Fri.) Spencer Municipal Utilities has purchased the former RR Donnelly building at 520 2nd Avenue East in Spencer.
SMU Sales and Marketing Director Amanda Gloyd says they purchased the building for $228,750 and plan to use it for storage. Gloyd says SMU will close on the property later this summer.
She says the additional storage will allow SMU to maintain a better inventory of parts and equipment.
