(Worthington, Mn.)– A single-vehicle rollover in Nobles county Wednesday injured an Ellsworth, Minnesota woman.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 26-year-old Andrea Zirbel was driving a 2002 Ford pickup northbound on Highway 91 two miles north of Ellsworth when she crossed the center line and went into the southbound lane.
Troopers say Zirbel then over-corrected after hitting the southbound shoulder. The vehicle skidded sideways into the east ditch and rolled into a corn field.
Authorities say Zirbel was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
She was taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington where she was treated and released.
The pickup was declared a total loss.
The crash took place shortly before 9:00 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
