(Primghar)– An Orange City teen sustained minor injuries Saturday in a mishap involving a motorcycle in O’Brien county.
Authorities say 18-year-old Nathan White was traveling on Highway 10 Boulevard about five miles southeast of Sutherland when he swerved to miss a deer, causing him to lose control. The 1982 Yamaha he was operating went onto the shoulder of the road and tipped over.
White sustaine minor injuries but apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment. Authorities say he WAS wearing a helmet.
300-dollars in damage was estimated to the motorcycle.
The incident took place shortly before 5:30 p.m.
