(Spirit Lake)– An investigation into a possibe parole violation led to two drug-related arrests Monday evening in Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake police say they were called to 2408 25th Street number 24 in Spirit Lake shortly after 5:30 p.m. to assist Iowa Adult Probation Services. Upon arriving officers determined illegal drugs were being used at the residence. A subsquent seach turned up what’s alleged to be growing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
37-year-old Barry Selland of Spirit Lake was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both men were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
