Man Arrested On Weapons Charge

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– An incident at a local convenience store landed an Everly man in jail on a weapons charge.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report shortly after 6:00 p.m. Friday of a man carrying a handgun in his pocket at the Quick Spot in Everly. Several witnesses reported seeing the gun.

Upon arriving the witnesses described the suspect to authorities. They then went to a residence at 207 East Fifth Street in Everly where they found a loaded .45 caliber Smith and Wesson pistol, which was seized. 30-year-old Joshua Radley was then arrested on a charge of carrying weapons, an aggravated misdemeanor.
He was booked into the Clay county jail pending an appearance before a Magistrate.
