(Undated)– Voters today (Tues.) overwhelmingly approved a proposal to renew a plant levy for Iowa Lakes Community College.
Unofficial results show 2,256 people in the college’s service area voted in favor of the measure, while 952 were opposed.
The levy will be in effect another 10 years.
David Gottsche of rural Milford was elected to fill a vacancy on the District five seat on the college’s board of directors. He received 262 votes while Harold Prior, a former President of ILCC, received 146.
