(Ruthven)– A two-vehicle collision Thursday in Ruthven sent three people to the hospital.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Candice Thompson of Spencer was eastbound on 360th Street and was making a left turn onto Gowrie Street when she collided with a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Michael Terveer of Ayrshire.
Three passengers in Terveer’s vehicle, 20-year-old Mark Frederick of Newell; 28-year-old Carly Shannon of Ayrshire and 24-year-old Michael Fedele of Emmetsburg were taken by ambulance to the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg. Their injuries weren’t believed to be serious.
Damage to a 2004 Dodge driven by Thompson was estimated at eight thousand dollars; a 1999 Mercury driven by Terveer was totaled.
Thompson was cited for failure to yield.
