(Sibley)– The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a single-vehicle crash on September 29th that resulted in minor injuries.
Deputies say 16-year-old Johnathon Dean of Allendorf was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer westbound on a county road when he swerved to avoid an animal. The vehicle began to slide sideways across a bridge and then struck the bridge barrier. It came to rest in the north ditch.
Dean sustained minor injuries but wasn’t taken to a hospital.
Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
