(Spirit Lake)– A parole and probations search conducted Thursday by Spirit Lake police and the Iowa Department of Adult Parole turned up three bags of a substance believed to be marijuana and one bag of a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
The search at 512 1/2 19th Street in Spirit Lake resulted in the arrests of 25-year-old Isra Brooks who was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and keeping a disorderly house.
Also arrested was 21-year-old Amber Dean who was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and keeping a disorderly house.
Brooks and Dean were both booked into the Dickinson county jail.
