(Sioux Falls, S.D.)– The Milford weather radio transmitter will be off the air most of the upcoming weekend.
The National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls, which oversees operation of the transmitter that serves weather radios in the region, says the outage will begin around noon Saturday (6/29) and will last through the day Sunday (6/30).
Weather Service officials say crews will be replacing an antenna.
The Milford transmitter serves the Iowa Great Lakes and surrounding area, including Spencer.
