I90 Rollover West Of Jackson Injures Three

November 22, 2014

(Jackson, Mn.)—A single-vehicle rollover Friday on Interstate 90 west of Jackson sent three people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 68-year-old Wolfgang Loew of Neutraubling, Germany was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup pulling a trailer westbound when a strong crosswind hit the trailer, causing him to lose control. The pickup and trailer fishtailed and traveled off the road where they both overturned.

Loew and two passengers, 42-year-old Elizabeth Loew and seven-year-old Nicholas Loew…both of Racine, Wisconsin…were taken to the Sanford Jackson Medical Center where they were treated for minor injuries.

The pickup and trailer were totaled.

The crash took place around 3:45 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the Jackson ambulance and the Jackson Fire Department.
