(Spencer)—Charges have now been filed against one of the drivers involved in a collision Monday morning at the north “Y” in Spencer that sent one person to the hospital.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has charged 53-year-old Lynne Goeders of rural Mallard with failure to obey a stop sign and failure to yield upon entering a highway.
Authorities say Goeders was traveling through the intersection when she drove into the path of a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Blair Bailey of Milford. Bailey was taken to Spencer Hospital for treatment of a sprained back and was released. Goeders wasn’t injured.
The vehicles were totaled.
