Spirit Lake senior Dylan Stecker signed his letter of intent today to attend the University of Iowa and the football program. He is excited to join the Hawkeyes after a long recruiting decision.
He finished his senior season with 1,223 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns. Dylan credits the coaching staff and everyone at Spirit Lake for preparing him for his next step in his athletic career.
Spirit Lake football coach Josh Bolluyt says Iowa is getting an amazing athlete that will put in the work to excel.
Spirit Lake will be sending two football players to division one schools and others will continue to play football at other universities and colleges next year. He is excited to see what those student athletes can accomplish.
