Okoboji lost at home to Rock Valley 48-30 on Friday night. Neither team could get much going offensively as the Rockets led just 5-3 midway through the first quarter; but they would end the frame on a 6-0 run to take an 11-3 lead into the third quarter. The Pioneers would trim the lead to 13-8 early in the second quarter but would score just two more points the rest of the quarter as the Rockets would take 23-10 lead into halftime. Both teams would get the offense going in the third quarter, but the Rockets would maintain their double-digit lead at 39-24 into the final quarter. The Pioneers could get no closer in the fourth quarter as Rock Valley pulled away for the win. Ava Packebush led Okoboji with 8 points while Riley Meyer added 6. Mylie Zomer led Rock Valley with 21 points. Okoboji fell to 1-7 while Rock Valley improves to 4-2.
