Spirit Lake had their nine-game winning streak snapped Saturday afternoon to #1 ranked Central Lyon/George-Little Rock 28-14. It was the state semifinals in Class 2A. Spirit Lake led 14-0, but CL/GLR rattled off 28 unanswered points to win. CL/GLR is 12-0 and will advance to championship game against Van Meter. Spirit Lake finishes the season with a record of 10-2. Jason Jacobs caught up with head coach Josh Bolluyt after the game to get his thoughts on the contest and the season.
