Fairmont Raceway hosted USRA racing during the Martin County Fair on Friday. Feature winners included a hometown win for Dustin Wiederhoeft in Modifieds, Derek Green getting win number nine this season in Stock Cars, Jared Boumeester getting win number six in B-Mods, Nick Brady in Hobby Stocks, and Kevin Bolte in Tuners. Season Championship Night featuring all of those classes plus the Tri-State Late Models happens this Friday.
Worthington Speedway hosted the penultimate night of the IMCA racing season on Saturday. Jordan Rogotzke got his second Modified win of the season, Justin Luinenburg got his third Stock Car win, Alec Fett got the Sport Mod victory, Blake Luinenberg went back-to-back in Hobby Stocks, Lucas Daniels won in Outlaws Mind Mods, Bubba Brown got his third win in Sport Compacts, and Wyatt Steenhoven took home the Bombers victory. Championship Night welcomes all of those classes plus the Tri-State Late Models tour to Worthington Speedway on Saturday.
Jackson Motorplex hosted the 45th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals powered by FENDT as the season headliner over the weekend. James McFadden nearly swept the World of Outlaws weekend with victories on Thursday and Friday before winning the King of the Hill on Saturday to lead the field to green in the $25,000-to-win finale. Carson Macedo squeezed past him on lap 26 and then survived a fierce battle with four-time and defending series champion Brad Sweet after a late restart to become the back-to-back Jackson Nationals champion. Cam Schafer of Little Canada captured the traditional sprint car win with the Upper Midwest Sprint Series on Saturday. Racesaver Sprint Car Series wins went to Matt Johnson on Thursday and Lee Goos, Jr. on Friday as well.
