Iowa Hawkeye junior Cooper DeJean had a fantastic season last year and, in the offseason, he worked on some things to improve his game even more. He also talks about the secondary and how special that group will be.
Cooper is also looking to be more a leader on defense, both with his play and vocally.
Special Teams coordinator LeVar Woods says Cooper is the leading candidate again this fall to help with the kick return game.
Iowa will open the season Saturday September 2nd against Utah State.
