Brandon Buysse earned his first RaceSaver Sprint Car main event victory at the Jackson Motorplex at the Merle Johnson Memorial Race in June. We talked to him about that and more during this week’s featured interview.
The Jackson Motorplex is the place to be for another 360 Challenge featuring the Midwest Sprint Touring Series and Midwest Power Series as well as RaceSaver Sprint Cars on Friday, July 7th. A similar event happens Friday, July 28th during the Jackson County Fair. Plus, the final IMCA special is on Tuesday, July 25th.
Worthington Speedway hosted the Outlaw Mini Mods along with weekly racing on Saturday.
IMCA feature winners included Sam Hoffman in Modifieds, Jeffrey Larson fourth victory in the Stock Cars, Tommy Tanner in Sport Mods, Malik Sampson’s fourth Hobby Stock win, and Nathan Recker in Sport Compacts along with Brian Campbell in Bombers and Jesse Logan in Mini Mods. “Midseason Championship” night is this Saturday in Worthington.
Fairmont Raceway hosted “Salute to Ag” night on Wednesday, June 28th.
USRA feature winners included Roger Nielsen in Modifieds, Derek Green is now 7-for-7 in weekly Stock Car shows, John Ross in B-Mods, Parker Anderson in Hobby Stocks, and the fourth Tuner victory for Oliver Monson. Fairmont Raceway will return to action with “Teacher Appreciation” night on July 12th and weekly racing is on Wednesdays there until August 2nd.
