
The Iowa Shrine Bowl held a media night in Spencer on Wednesday March 2nd. This year the Shrine Bowl is celebrating their 50th anniversary. The Iowa Shrine Bowl All-Star Classic game is an annual football game played each July featuring 92 of the best football players in the State of Iowa. To date, the Iowa Shrine Bowl has raised nearly 3 million dollars for Shriners’ Children. Spencer will have a player, two cheerleaders and a coach that will be in the game this year. Drew Hough, a lineman for the Tigers was selected as a player to participate in the game. The cheerleaders are Aneli Hicks and MacKenzie Manwarren and one of the assistant coaches for the North team will be Spencer head coach Jim Tighe.

The 2022 Iowa Shrine Bowl Game will be Saturday July 23rd at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls at 2 PM
