In a game heard on KUOO, defending class 2A state champ Spirit Lake outpaced Okoboji 63-0. The starting unit for the Indians were on the field for a half, with junior quarterback Alec Henrickson going 7 for 14 for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Indians also brought a balanced running game, led by junior Josh Hofstra carrying 9 times for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns. In all, Spirit Lake had 449 yards of offense. Okoboji sophomore quarterback Alex Heller was called upon heavily, attempting 30 passes on the night, completing 14 for 146 yards, but did throw 4 interceptions.
