The Iowa Lakes Men’s Basketball team defeated Minnesota West 86-48 to move to 5-2 on the season
The Lakers had 4 players score in double figures. Deondre Parks led the way wit 17, Colton Neff scored 14, Latrell Love had 12 and Tate Harmon had 14.
The Lakers out rebounded Minnesota West 50-22 a margin of 28 and held the Blue Jays to 31% from the floor.
Minnesota was led by Jackson Seitzinger with 13.
Next up for Iowa Lakes is Division 1 power Indian Hills. The 6-0 Warriors are currently ranked 2nd in the country at the NJCAA Division 1 level and are led by recent Baylor signee Lester Medford. They will feature a high powered attack averaging 111 points per game, and have 11 guys being recruited at the NCAA Division 1 level. The game will include 3 NCAA Division 1 signees in Medford from Indian Hills, Roosevelt Scott from Indian hills has signed with Arizona State, and Iowa Lakes Sophomore Deondre Parks has signed with South Dakota State.
The game will be played in Laker Gymnasium Tuesday November 26th at 7:30pm.
