Sat 10-4-2014

After 2 long road trips the Emmetsburg football team returned home for homecoming and took care of Central Springs 48-6.  The E'hawks would receive the opening kickoff and 2 min and 48 seconds later would it in from 1 yard out by Jacob Kibbie.  After a 3 and out by the panther, the E'hawks would get the ball back and score again just 4 minutes into the 1st quarter.  Emmetsburg would lead 20-0 after the 1st quarter and increase their lead to 41-6 at half.  Only 1 touchdown was scored in the 2nd half thanks to the running clock and the E'hawks cruise to a 42 point win.

Emmetsburg would amass 334 yards of offense, all on the ground.  They were led by Jacob Kibbie rushing 18 times for 148 yards and 3 touchdowns.  The Emmetsburg defense would hold Central Springs to just 84 yards of total offense and forced 2 fumbles.

Emmetsbug is now 3-3, 2-1 in district play and will be at Eagle Grove next Friday on Y 100.
