Okoboji Coach Royce Van Roekel:

There is little to say tonight other than the fact that we are extremely proud coaches of these fine young men and women.  We knew the moment the district assignments came out that it was going to be a very difficult night for us to get anybody through.  This very well could be the toughest district across the state tonight with many top ranked teams and individuals in attendance tonight.  This did not deter us from bringing our best tonight and giving it everything we had.  We have no doubts that our athletes did their very best, and there is nothing more a coach can ask for than this.  So we take this time to thank all the athletes, parents, and fans throughout the community for all that they have blessed us with this year.  It has truly been a great year, that we hate to see come to an end for such a great group of kids.
