Quote From Spirit Lake Boys Track Coach Brad Travis:
It was a Meet for the Ages or maybe better stated as a meet for the Breaking of the Ages! Our kids had a wonderful meet and over the course of the Day and set 8 records (3x School All-Time Best & 5x Indoor School All-Time Best Records). In addition to records they amassed 4x Blue Standard qualifications that Automatically qualify them for the Drake Relays later in April. But even more exciting from a coaching perspective were the number of Mega PR’s by all of our kids from this year compated to last year at this meet. Keeping with the Monster theme was the fact that many of the 40+ schools we competed against today were 4A and 5A schools from multiple states. Our kids are just hitting stride and our full week of practice showed. Add this coming week of getting more prepared and the potential for another Monster Meet at SDSU on March 31st looks to be HUGE.
