SPIRIT LAKE BASEBALL
The Spirit Lake Baseball team improved to 5-0, last
night. The Indians beat Cherokee 4-2,
led by Brandon Stoll, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI, and to stolen
bases. Paul Brown got the win on the mound
as he threw nine strikeouts in seven innings. He gave up three hits and allowed two earned runs.
The Indians will compete in a tournament, today, in Sheldon.

The Spirit
Lake softball team won
its fifth game in a row, as they beat Sheldon, 8-7, yesterday.
The Indians continue tournament play, in Sheldon, today.
OKOBOJI BASEBALL
The Okoboji baseball team knocked off Central
Lyon, 10-5.
OKOBOJI SOFTBALL
The Okoboji Softball team was shut out, 13-0, yesterday, by Ames.
HARRIS-LAKE PARK
The Harris-Lake Park Softball Team will compete, today, in a
varsity tournament at Newell-Fonda.
The HLP Baseball Team has a double-header, at Algona this
afternoon, the first game starts at 1 p.m.
