The Spirit Lake Boys Golf team is Conference Champs, after winning the Lakes Conference tournament, yesterday. The Indians’ Corey Potter was the Meet Medalist with a 70. Zach Skopec was the runner-up with a 73. Emmetsburg was led by Mike Pugh with a 75, Mike Myers with a 76 and Taylor Wegner with a 80. Spencer was paced by Lee Beneke and Casey Cunningham with a 78.

The Spirit Lake Girls Golf team placed fifth, yesterday, in the Lakes Conference Tournament. Emmetsburg and Spencer were the top two teams. The Tigers’ Maddie Boyd was the Meet Medalist with an 89 while Emmetsburg was led by Taylor Knight with a 91 to finish runner up.

The Okoboji Girls Golfers were second, behind Sibley Ocheydan, in yesterday’s Siouxland Conference tournament. The Pioneers’ Alex Mankle was the runner-up medalist with a 41, behind Sibley-Ocheydan’s Jurnea Harberts, who shot 39.
The Harris-Lake Park Girls Golf team was third, in yesterday’s triangular, behind Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire and West Bend Mallard.
The Wolves’ Macy Gunderson was the meet medalist with a 49. Kelley Harris was the runner-up, with a 50, for GT/RA.
