PAIR OF HUSKIES HONORED BY BIG SOUTH

A pair of Jackson County Central players are getting postseason recognition from the Big South Conference.

Huskies freshman Zadi Farmer is on the Gold division team.

Farmer surpassed 1,000 career points this season while leading JCC with 24.4 points and 3.4 steals per game. She led the team in shooting percentage from the field and free throw line. She also grabbed 4.5 rebounds and dished out a pair of assists on average.

Huskies senior Madelyn Rowe received an honorable mention.

The Mount Marty University signee averaged a near double-double with a team-high 9.5 rebounds per game to go with 11.7 points. She led the team in blocks along with having 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

The 11-16 Huskies collected a 5-9 conference record to finish sixth in the Gold division of the Big South.
