This week’s Central Bank and Insurance Athlete of the Week
is Abby Taylor from the Okoboji Girls Track team. Taylor
was nominated after she placed first in the discus, with a throw of 104 feet,
six inches, at the Spencer Invite on April 16.
At that same meet, she placed second in the shot put with a
throw of 33 feet, 5 ½ inches. Here’s

This past Monday, Taylor
threw the discus a personal record 108-feet at the Sibley Invite. Dau says throwing the discus well takes a lot
of work.
