The basketball games on Saturday January 18 between Spirit Lake and Okoboji, are being designated as Press On – Liver Cancer Awareness Night. Press On apparel and necklaces will be available for sale Saturday night in the high school commons from 5:30 – 9 PM. Also, a 3 point shoot out will take place during both half times with all proceeds going towards Pediatric Liver Cancer Research at Mayo in Pressley Cochran Bray’s name. Organ and tissue transplant information will be available that night as well.
The girls game will start around 6:15 PM with the boys game to follow and you can listen to the broadcast on KUOO and online at www.exploreokoboji.com
Come cheer on both teams as they battle for basketball bragging rights on the court, but work together towards a common goal of fighting cancer.
