Quotes from John Adams
“We are super proud of how the kids responded to Sioux Center’s fast start. I made a mistake and started out in a zone and give Sioux Center credit, they shot the ball extremely well to start the game. I thought the middle 24 minutes of the game was the best we have played all season, as we really cranked up our defensive pressure and shared the ball really well. Schuiteman hit some big shots in that fourth quarter and we just ran out of gas the last four minutes. I loved how hard we played and how this groups sticks together. Ava had a great night on both ends of the floor and hit some big shots; Courtney also played really well and Lydia gave us some great leadership and rebounding. Lexie Powers had her best minutes of the year as well. I love how this group pulls for each other and we’re really close to turning the corner on the scoreboard.”
