The Okoboji Boys Golf team took first place, yesterday, in the Siouxland Conference Tournament. MOC-Floyd Valley’s Ryan Christy was the Meet Medalist after he shot a 39. Okoboji’s Tyler Ohl and Ben DeMuth each shot 39s to take second and third place, respectively.
The Emmetsburg Boys Golf team was victorious in a triangular, yesterday, against Spirit Lake and Storm Lake. Emmetsburg shot a 160, Spirit Lake took second with a 164 and Storm Lake a 172. The meet medalist was Zach Skopec of Spirit Lake with a 36. The E-Hawks’ Mike Myers was the runner-up with a 37.
The Emmetsburg girls were also victorious as they shot a 192 compared to Storm Lake’s 200 and Spirit Lakes 230. The meet medalist was Hannah Van Oosbree of Emmetsburg with a 47.
The Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven Ayrshire boys topped North Union, yesterday/ GT/RA’s Blaze Alesch was the Meet Medalist with a 43.
