The Martin County West softball team dominated Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey at home on Monday.
The Mavericks beat the storm and the Wolverines 15-0 in four innings.
MCW scored a pair of runs in the first inning, five in the second, three more in the third, and five more in the fourth.
Rowan Faber delivered three hits including a solo home run, a double, and a single. She also batted in three runs and scored four times. Ida Rohman plated three runs with a home run and a double. She also scored twice. Bailey Larson had her own pair of hits including a double and a pair of RBIs plus a walk. Maddie Carlson drove a trio of runs with a single. Courtney Anderson smacked an RBI single and scored twice. Emma Geldart had one hit. Lillie Schultz and Addy Wohlhuter each scored three runs. Schultz also drew a walk. Taylor Hughes scored a run.
Carlson allowed just three hits while striking out seven during four shutout innings in the circle.
The 3-0 Mavericks host Madelia on Thursday.
