The Martin County West boys’ basketball team lost a third straight game to finish the regular season on Friday night.
New Ulm Cathedral outlasted the Mavericks 70-66 in New Ulm. Chase Owens posted a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds. Lixon Forsberg added 15 points. Jackson Wilmes had 10 points. Brycen Kettner collected eight points and nine rebounds. The Mavericks finished the regular season 3-23 overall with the Section 2A Tournament coming up next.
