The Jackson Motorplex has five different car classes racing in Tuesday night’s Bank Midwest IMCA Series special. Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts are ready to roll.
The Jackson Motorplex is hosting the Merle Johnson Memorial with $10,000-to-win 410 sprint cars on Friday, June 16th. RaceSaver sprints will also be in action as part of the Border Battle weekend. We talked to Kaleb Johnson about that event and more during this week’s featured interview.
Fairmont Raceway held Make-A-Wish/Cancer Awareness Night this past Friday. A bounty remains on Derek Green as he is still the only Stock Car feature winner after five weeks. Other big winners included Brandon Davis in Modifieds, Jared Boumeester in B-Mods, Jeremy Crimmins in Hobby Stocks, and Oliver Monson in Tuners. Fairmont Raceway is featuring the Tri-State Late Models tour this coming Friday along with the weekly USRA car classes.
Worthington Speedway rained out after heat races on Saturday so that means IMCA double features this week with hot laps moved up to 6:00 and racing to follow. This coming Saturday is also the first time Worthington Speedway will feature the Outlaw Mini Mods tour to go along with weekly IMCA classes plus the Bombers.
