JCC GIRLS WIN OUTDOOR TRACK OPENER

The Jackson County Central girls track and field team won six events to take home the team title from Windom on Thursday.

Natalia Botello-Ramos led teammate Allison Luebben to the finish line in the 100 Meters. Those two girls joined with Zoey Hall and Zadi Farmer to win the 4×100 Relay. Farmer also took home the Triple Jump win. Stevie Untiedt joined Hall, Luebben, and Botello-Ramos on the victorious 4×200 Relay team. Untiedt captured the victory in the 200 Meters. Naiya Ayers was the winner in the 3200 Meters.

The JCC girls collected 132 team points ahead of Windom Area with 98, Worthington with 96, Wabasso with 67, and TMB with 20 points.

David Botello-Ramos ran through the hail to victory in the 3200 Meters for the JCC boys.

The team finished fifth place with 67 points. Worthington won the boys team title with 136 ahead of Windom Area with 115, Wabasso with 92, and TMB with 76 points.
